Translating Migratory Experiences into Art
OPEN POSITIONS for team members
We are looking for people who would like to get involved in organizing and running the second edition of "Found in Translation"
TRANSLATORS
Each FiT story is presented in three languages: Spanish, English and German. We are looking for translators with proven experience who can translate at least two of these languages:

The translations should be carried out during the month of March 2023.

The approximate total number of pages is 30.
The translation should respect the text from a literary point of view.
UNIVERSITY INTERNSHIP 80% (6 to 10 months starting in July 2023)
The ideal entry into the professional world. As an intern, you carry out the tasks independently and grow with them. We accompany and support you in this process.
We are looking for a committed, hard-working person who enjoys working in a team and also independently. She is able to communicate with people from different cultures. Good knowledge of German (B1) is required. English and Spanish or other languages are a plus.
Areas: intercultural communication, socio-culture, ethnology, sociology, philosophy, communication, art and similar
Tasks:

Project management as part of an integrative, participatory, interactive and artistic project.

Follow-up of the project dossier

Participation in reporting

Management support and network maintenance with different cultural groups and language groups, also with artists and institutions

Communication: social media

Active participation in team meetings

Presence at event implementation

General administrative office work
INTERCULTURAL MODERATORS
FiT is a project that encourages encounter, co-creation and empathy between an artist and a storyteller from different cultures, ages and professional backgrounds.
To accompany this process, we are looking for 2 intercultural moderators who will facilitate this process by translating and mediating cultural differences. Good knowledge of German and English is required. Spanish and other languages are a plus.
Tasks:

Join the artist-storyteller tandems

Maintain regular contact and monitor the co-creation work.

Participate in the organization of meetings of the tandems, if necessary, from May to September 2023 (1 or 2 times a week).
